Do you think we will stop the run against AZ?I was pumped this whole offseason about our run D. I really thought we were gonna stuff the Jets last week so I was bumed when Jones went just over 100 yards rushing for the game. Now I saw a huge improvement over last years run D for sure. I really think this week we are going to stuff Edge, not to mention with our weak secondary and the Cards passing game I see them going right after us. But if they can throw at will and end up with James having a good rushing day were toast. So who think we shut them down on the ground? I really think that was a big point in this weeks pratice since Tony said he was really dissapointed in his press conference that we gave up what we did. I will say we hold them to under 100 yards rushing this week, but I hope its not because Warner has 450 yards passing

People seem to forget that Thomas Jones is a pretty good back and has a really good O-Line to run behind in NY. With that being said, Zona's O-Line isnt that good and Edgerrin James is past his prime. So I say yes, we will stop the run, however I think they will pass most of the game anyways because our secondary is one of our weaknesses. So I'm more worried about Boldin and Fitz then I am about Edge and the're run game. Alot more worried.

I mean EDGE is consistent. He's really not bad. With that being said I have EDGE on my fantasy football team but I'm benching him. I NEVER start someone who plays against the fins. When we play the steelers I'm benching big ben for Chad Pen. Man I hope EDGE gets harassed.

edge can no longer turn the corner and blow by roth for a touchdown like jones can. if edge wants to run at us, he's gonna be going up the middle. i don't see that working out too well for him. 15 rushes for 52 yards sounds about right.

Their not exactly a real run dominant team, I would rather give them more on the ground in order to make they don't light up the skies.
T.Jones is an excellent back that is big time underrated in the league, I'm sure Chicago could have told us that last season. If the "Edge" runs for close to 100 yards with a low average I think it will give us the best chance to win. We're built to grind our way down the field not get in a shoot out with anyone.

If I was Arizona I would start with play action and burn Miami with Boldin and Fitzgerald... You know Miami will have it in their heads to stop the run first (as they went into the game last week)..
If Arizona was smart, they would go play action (as Warner is good at it) and burn Miami's secondary early.. That could pretty much make Miami come from behind and put the psychological edge in Arizona's favor.. Especially against a young team like Miami that is still figuring out "how" to win. Arizona should be coming into that game looking for a shootout. And once that loud crowd of theirs gets into it with a couple of big pass plays early, it could really damage Miami's mindset quickly, and early, on the road.
