Tala Esera is a possibility there too. I think the only 2 spots that are really set right now are Carey at LT and Hadnot at RG---assuming no major injuries. I think you can almost make a case that Satele is set at Center, but who knows what Ingram does or another guy? Shelton is by no means already set in stone to start at RT.

Granted he's a little inexperienced and needs to work on his pass protection a bit, but I think he has the potential to be just as good, if not better then Shelton. What do you guys think?
It's possible, since many thought Wilson was good enough to be drafted.

It may be Anthony Alabi, though, that has the inside track. He seems to be the forgotten man since he was injured for the mini-camps, but if he's ready to go he could quickly replace Shelton if he falters.

The door is open simply because Toledo and Alabi are hurt...so who knows if Julius takes the opportunity.

I would think that Esera would get the spot before Wilson?

We'll see. Not heard much at mini camp but that's not surprising about any OL.

So marty had nothing to do with that.

I agree but I don't see this happening right away.

Marty is a head coach, who is not an offensive guy by trade. He listens to his coordinators and position coaches as anyone would, when it comes to who to start.

I guess he's never been healthy because he's had only one winning season in 7 years, that included 83 fumbles, 89 INT's, & 249 sacks. That's not elite.

Culpepper's like a 7-Up commercial, never had it, never will.

Was Culpepper ever Mobile? Culpepper sacked 249 times in 7 years; Marino was sacked 270 times in 17 years. You do the math.

P.S. If he's so good why is he still unemployed???

Agreed.

Rosenthal hasn't stayed healthy either. If any of these three guys aren't healthy going into the season they might not make the team, or might end up on IR, and Wilson might get his shot.

Hey we need a QB. I just don't think that 38 year old Trent Green is the answer. For how much time we invested in DC and how hard he has worked i think he at least deserves a chance to be a part of team drills. Have u seen what he does in individual drills, half of the starting QB's in the league can't even move like that. Green can't. And Beck is not the future, I would have liked to seen us draft Drew Stanton over him. I would rather see Lemon start over Beck if thats the direction we are heading, Cleo's got a cannon. I just hope that someday i can feel comfortable with the QB position, something that none of us have felt in years, and i felt confident after seeing cpep move the way he is now. and its not like he dont have an arm. we need a solid QB, one the team can trust. If there is no solid QB, there is no solid team. i just hope everything works out and we can at least cheer for them in the playoffs for once.
Go Phins!
