Dolphins 80/1 favorite to win the Super Bowl

Not that it's important, but it's a slow week. I was looking at Super Bowl odds linked from a PFT story, and I saw that the Dolphins' odds of winning the Super Bowl are higher than the Chiefs (100/1), the Raiders (100/1), the Falcons (125/1), and the same as the 49ers (80/1).

Although these numbers are preliminary and not indicative of, well, much of anything; Vegas odds are not a bad indicator usually. The odds makers tend to know what they're doing.

New England, for what it's worth is a 10/3 favorite. Chargers, Colts, Cowboys, and Patsies seem to be the early favorites.

Hey!!! The odds have improved. The week after the Super Bowl, Vegas had us at 100/1.

One of the key ingredients for Vegas to determine Lines/Odds is team popularity.

So Vegas still may have us pegged as the worst team but they know they will get more action on Miami than say Kansas City who when healthy is obviously a better team than US.

That being said why not lay a 10 spot on the Chiefs?? Unlikely? Yea, but thats decent value IMO.

Not that I'm an expert in betting terminology, but I believe that at 80-1 the Fins are a longshot, not a favorite.
