Dolphins, a class organization

I am proud to be a fan of one of the classiest organizations in the league. You almost never see or hear about Wayne Huizenga having his hand in football matters. He allows the football minds to do their jobs.

I just wanted to give the organization(especially Huizenga) props for the show that was put on tonight and the one that was put on for Marino.

If he isn't the model owner of this league, I don't know who is.

GO PHINS!!!

The whole push by the organization to form the Dolphin alumni (man I love those jackets) is great. To see an event like last night where not only the 72 Dolphins are there, but also Marino and Offerdahl, and other alumni. It is really a great tradition and brings warm feelings to being a Dolphin fan. The whole idea of having the 72 players in practice this week and particiapte in the position meetings etc. Just awesome. It brings tradition to the team and is great for them and for us the fans.

I am proud of our team.

Huizenga is mentioned year in and year out by the media as one of the best owners to play for. Class act all the way.

It was a good show. It reminded me a bit of how the Yankees handle events when they bring back the old-timers.

I liked the fact that Zonk singled out Marino for helping to protect the Dolphins record from the 85 Bears... To me thats a pretty big deal. I don't think we win that game without Dan, and as you know the Bears didn't lose again that year and won the SB... Beating the Bears that day is a major accomplishment for Dan Marino in my mind, yet its not one of the things he is frequently remembered for... But I appreciate him for it and apparently so do the 72 dolphins.... He may not have won a super bowl, but that day he helped the Dolphins keep sole possesion of one of the most precious records in the history of proffesional sports.

Great point 13isgr81. It made for anice link from the 70s top the 80's and 90s Dolphins. What will be the link to the 2000's fins?

Hmmmmm...

I hope someone did a documentary type video of this whole week and the festivities. SO much great stuff happened it would be a shame if they didn't. If anyone sees anything post it on the board.
