just like that person talking about miami getting credit and/or respect..... ricky williams has to do the same thing.... earn his credit and respect back... only way to do that is by doing it up this season (even without injuries... gotta be lucky there too)... only way!!!

[quote=btk1;1062599978]The article while written on shock value was pretty much dead on. I am a big time Ricky Williams fan but he has given nobody a reason to trust him. Remember he is one failed drug test away from being kicked out of football forever.

While the article is right on, in some regards I think it's off in some as well. He dogs the line by saying we have two rookies and a second year guy in satele. Which is true but we have one rookie who was the #1 pick in the draft and is immensely talented, on top of that, the second year guy Satele, played all 16 games and was very impressive as well. It just seams that ESPN loves to put is in a bad light. And then to say at the end that RB is anything but solved for us, is kind of stupid too. No team has a duo as talented as us, so yes Tim Graham.. the RB position is set for the dolphins.

We expect them to use their 'expert analysis' for what the team is today, not what it was last year. I know the two are related, but they aren't the same thing.

Plus we lost 6 or 7 games by three points or less. Anybody should be able to look at the 07 Dolphins and the 08 Dolphins, even at this early stage in the season, and know that we are a much improved team.

So many unrealistic expectations for this year... Lets face it, we haven't improved that much. Most of what we've done is developmental and we probably wont be seeing those effects until next year.

That was one of the most uninteresting articles I have read in a while. I think he should just write this at the end of his article: "Hi I am Tim, I have just bored myself to death reading all this nonsense".

Why do I continue to read anything that ESPN puts out there. Everytime I read something I feel dumber afterwards. Why don't they go write an article on how great the Patriots are gonna be this year or something, even though they were arguably the biggest choke artists in the history of the sport last year, but don't worry they will win every game they play again this season and win the superbowl.....sure. Does this Tim guy even watch football or just write out of his ***. If you've noticed so far this preseason and all of mini camps and traing camp Ricky has looked just as good if not better than when he won the rushing title. We have a rookie left tackle yes but this rookie was also the number one pick in the draft. Our second year center played all 16 games last year and statistically was I think second or third out of all AFC centers(correct me if i'm wrong). Then he says our runningback possition isn't settle when before Ronnie got hurt on a freak injury last year was leading the league in all purpose yards behind an offensive line that was nowhere nearly as talented as we've got now. Also thank you to the person who posted a comment on there who obviously has more common sense than the author of this article, Ricky Williams smoked weed!!! Thats it he's not a player who is out there beating there wife, getting drunk and driving, taking steroids and/or any other performance enhancing drugs. Why don't you go write an article on how the Patriots can't count on Rodney Harrison b/c hgh or the Chargers with Merriman.. What an Idiot!!!

I know we were a 1-15 team last year yada yada yada. But lets just use some common football sense. What was it like 6 games we lost by 3 or less points or something like that. That was with some of the worst coaching i've ever seen at a college level let alone against NFL teams. Also if noone can see that we are a much better football team and with much much better coaching is as blind as the guy who wrote this. Anyways sorry about the long rant it just irritates me with the disrespect that ESPN gives the Dolphins. Also the way people act towards Ricky Williams for smoking weed, b/c I read much worse things on a daily basis on sites like profootballtalk.com about players doing much much worse things than sitting in your own home and smoking weed not hurting a soul.

ESPN is Pats lovers and fans. And if you notice when their is a piece on the Phins on NFLN that Bradys other boyfriend Rich Eisen, JT being the other, Rich is not in studio and that is when Eod, Jamie and co. give us some love. Screw ESPN and all of Brady's boyfreinds. I can't wait for a network to come along and talk about how the Pats are sucking because they can't cheat for the 1st time since the year 2000.
