How many games did he win for the Jets is what is important to me and not the rating. He cost the Jets numerous games with bad decisions and costly INT's.

Cool!! I think Pennington would be a good fit for the Phinz, especially with the way things have been shaping up at the QB position this off-season. We need him, and he needs us. I'd happily welcome Pennington....

IN TUNA WE TRUST....

My point was that ESPN tends to jump the gun a bit. Lighten up

I rather cut McCown than the youngsters, if Tuna brings in Pennington. While I think McCown has probably reached all his upside, I'm not convinced we really know what Beck has in him yet & we definately must hang on to Henne.

Chad reminds me a lot of Jay, he's a solid manager of the game and has heart, but lacks some physical tools. But now his arm strength is always a huge ??. However, he's a smart player and a veteran, and most people would agree that he's a better player than McCown, so what's the problem?

The problem is he used to be a Jet. And he has a weak arm and a surgery on his throwing shoulder. If we are going to be a power running team we need a QB who can throw over the top.

Let me tell ya something about Chad. He is a smart guy. REAL SMART!!!! He is a Parcells guy.

He could very easily play for a year or two then turn into a QB coach then move into an o-coordinator spot. Like a Jason Garrett is doing right now in this league.

we have no WR's to throw to over the top!!!! We are a dink, dunk, cluster WR set type team

Not even close. Pennington has won playoff games. Hell Pennington was a missed FG away from taking the Jets to the AFC Championship game a couple years ago!!!
