I like Bess and see alot of upside in him. Its a much harder game in the NFL for WR the DB's are the cream of the crop. when he adjust to the speed of the game i think he will do well.
Wes Welker is a very good WR for a white boy and i wish we did not let him go. We sure could use him today with Ginn jr.

Personally, I like Bess and his potential... I think he has the ability to fill WW role. The question is will he live up to that potential.

p.s. I don't get why some Dolphins fans are so eager to put down their own players.
I hope your right about Bess, but even Welker took a few years to become the player we all loved to watch.

Id much rather have a more productive player than Wes Welker of 06. If I had to settle for him, then id choose Welker. He may have had a 10 YPC average (which is not that impressive if your a WR), if anyone is impressed with his 1 TD and 3 fumbles (1 lost) of 06, then they would be happy with a mediocre, non playoff season.
I'm not discounting it. I said I agree that he wouldn't have had they same stats with any other team. But everybody uses it as a defense for getting rid of him. People say it like they don't think he was anything before NE.

I'm sorry, I just don't believe he's purely a product of that offense. Yea, his stats are better because he was there. But has stats were still respectable in Miami with abd QBs throwing to him.

We have a good QB now, and I think he would do fine. He would be better than 06, but not as good as 07. I would take that as a #3 receiver.

Do you want Bess to play like Welker did for us or the Pats. LOL
Brady had a part in welkers success.
Without a Pro-bowl qb throwing to him Welker is ok but not great.

Sorry bro, i just dont see it. In 3 years with us he had 1 recieving TD and 13 fumbles. Granted for some of that time he wasnt playing as much, which could pad his TD stat and say he wasnt given many opportunities, but if you go that way, it makes his 13 fumbles look even worse than if he played more.

All New England did was throw the ball last year... I'm pretty sure there were games where they would throw it literally 10-15 plays in a row....

Welker did very well here WITHOUT a "tom brady escue" QB throwing it to him... really the only reason he had more stats with new england was because all they did was THROW THE BALL EVERY PLAY

for a white boy?? lol..... i won't even start but that's a pretty dumb thing to say. Manning and Brady are pretty good QBs for "white boys" too ehh??

lol

3 seasons with Welker

*1 Recieving TD
*13 Fumbles

We had records of 4-12, 9-7, 6-10

How much did he help us again?

you seem to be forgetting the 70 catch 650 yard season that put him on the map.

Oh and also why would New England trade us a SECOND ROUND PICK and throw in a 7'th for a guy that had no talent??

please lol

oh yah he was so horrible but New England just gave us a 2'nd round pick for him for nothing. They obviously saw no potential in him. They make bad moves like that all the time though right??

lol?????

You are totally missing the boat on Wes. He was a valuable 3rd down conversion machine. Gave us a pretty nifty guy back there returning kicks as well, when we had nobody who could return a kick. The guy is a lion hearted baller with good hands, quick feet, and crazy agility.

Sometimes it's not all about the stats. The reason the pats wanted him so bad is because they couldn't cover him with their vaunted D. The guy always got open on 3rd downs. Last year most of the teams knew it was going to him over half the time and still couldn't stop him.

I see...

Camarillo as more the Welker type. Not just because of their outward resemblance but I think their skill set is similar. 4.7 speed, great hands, not afraid of going over the middle and taking a hit.
