I am confused about beck?????

i remember seeing for a couple of days that beck was cut and it was on one of the peoples links i guess those people are wrong? because i see people posting for trade value on him unless they are old

So basically.

As of right now is beck on the team or they are saying when the first roster trim goes down he is on that list.

I know they said they are going to keep 4 QB's which the only reason i see that happening is if 1 was a Star on the special teams hahaha (which none are) or possibly a long snapper but we already have that taken care of.

Where i can see mccown being cut, alot of people and some analyst say it would be better to have him if pennigton went down over beck or henne.

Well basically the link said " Um we sorda kinda heard a bum on the street, who heard from a little birdy that Beck may be, but not sure, possibly, might be, looks like it could happen, have it from an unreliable source that Beck has been cut. The vultures swooped in, busted open the champaign and party poppers and threw a great big BASH (pun intended). Well... the story about Beck thats started the whole "Beck is cut" was pure fabrication.

Bit it only pointed out that Beck AND McCown are on the bubble.

There are strong Pro and anto beck camps.

So the reality is Beck is on the team. No one really knows what the plan is for him, or McCown. No one really knows who is playing tomorrow. We can specualte.

Who will be cut? Your guess will be as good as any thats for sure!

Well both Chads are safe, it's probably just a matter of time before the hammer drops on Beck or McCown, even though coach said we may keep 4 QB's. I think that statement is just a ploy for a future trade, so teams can't just assume one of them will get cut. That's what I am thinking.

i just want to know what you think beck and mccowns trade value are??? i think teams know we're gonna release somebody so why waste a pick in trade. they'll just scoop them off waivers.

Seems to be the Dolphins would love to move Beck but there seems to be no suitors because he has no value at this point.

Meanwhile he keeps battling to stick around.

My guess is the FO has a big decision coming up over the hill. I really doubt they keep four.

You're exactly right. It's not like Miami has alot of leverage at this point. If they hold on to all 4 into the season here may be an injury within the first 6 weeks or so before the deadline. But why would a team rush out for Beck? Cpep is still out there for free!.. Of only he would hire an agent.

maybe but the chiefs didn't pursue penny pledging they were good with brodie croyle (which i think is assanine from what i've seen of croyle) when they had the chance.

if the chiefs didn't want penny why would they want the guys our regime off a 1-15 season replaced with penny???

IMHO, and nothing personal against Beck, but at this point he's worthless in the trade market...

McCown was a FA so I don't see him worth a penny either. Frankly, the BS about shopping either one of these guys at this point is blowing smoke. Whoever doesn't stick is just going to be released...

that sounds great but a 1-15 football team can't afford to keep 4 qbs. what we need is some preseason injuries around the league to some qbs and then maybe we'll have a shot at some compensation. not much but some.

No, I am not saying that at all. I am saying IMO Beck and McCown are still fighting for the last spot. Hold on to both until the last PS game and hope for some injuries.
