I wish we played the Saints last week.

I know we all enjoyed last weeks game. We played with toughness and a mean streak our O did its thing ate up clock and moved the ball on the ground. We had no drops it really was a confidence boost and an exelent game for us to build upon.

BUT

I am a litte upset about playing KC though i think out energy and confidence will carry over to tongiht contest but the Saints are a MUCH MCH better team they are a sexy pick for the NFC title gaem atleast and now we get them with the most worthless game ever. No starters will play. I wish the Saints game was last week that would have been a much better barometer to see how we look aganist a good team. I know this is how things were scheduled but no matter what our guys need to bring that intensity we had last week cause this week most guys who are playing are playing for thier jobs.

it doesnt matter. Its preseason.

You can't take anything from a preseason win, even if it did come against the Saints. A preseason win means as much as a preseason loss. Nothing.

It doesn't even matter if the starters do well because neither team game plans, there just going out there and playing football while also most likely trying not to get hurt.

With a potential category 3 Gustav having NO in its sights in a few days, (I know THAT feeling), it's possible their guys'lll be more preoccupied with getting out of Dodge while the getting's good - if they're confident they've made the team. Has the makings of a real nasty one once it hits those warm Gulf waters.
