thanks for writing a real observation of the players . i liked your comments on beck and henne , they are spot on . to me beck is a calm intelligent guy that doesnt like to take risks , he can be very valuable to our team , but specially on a run oriented offense .

i wasnt that surprised to watch more pass than rush , coaches already know the strength is the rush so these games are meant to see other things .

Could it had been better...yes...but I expect each game they play to be better...thats the real test. When you consider the Dolphins played without 4 of their starters...and played the the Bucs to a stand still...that ain't bad.

Anyone who saw last nights game...should understand why Beck started...it was his last chance to impress the coaches...or in fact...Parcells. Common sense tells you he's the odd man out...if you like it or not...they are not going to release either of the two Vets nor Henne...a QB they chose. My best guess is he's history by the 3rd game...they are not going to keep 4 QB's...and it just doesn't make sense to put him on the reserve list.

Ever wonder how one team can get all the penalties and the other team none....still shaking my head on that.

Long played well for his first game...Ricky ran hard...all decent signs.
I'm with ya on this one. CK's post was very informative and obviously a good read...but a little too critical considering where this team is. What can you honestly expect in the first pre-season game with 2 very inexperienced QBs and alot of new faces, new systems, etc?

NO ONE (outside of some of us whose expectations are way too high) expect this team to make alot of noise this year. This team isn't going to go 10-6 or better. I really can't see more than 7 wins, and even 7 would be tremendous. CK, good read though.
