I have fun looking at mock drafts, even this early, so I was happy to find a compilation of them here:

The thing is, everyone has us drafting top five. The site's mock has us 2nd!!!! I can't wait to prove everyone wrong.

Oh, and their season preview has us 2-14

1-15 team going into a new season with a seriously re-vamped roster and no clear cut choice for a starting QB being led by a rookie Head Coach......just give us the Lombardi and don't waste everyone's time with playing this year.

True but we will definitely improve over 1-15. How could you not?

Also remember we were in 6 football games that were winnable if not for some poor coaching decisions and just pure dumb luck.

I look for us to improve dramatically!

But we aren't even close to the same 1-15 team of 07. I doesn't take much effort to research what we've done since the last regular season game of 07. I seriously question any evaluation at this time of year, they're pointless. I understand it's slow and people need to write something, but basing this years outcome off last years record is simply lazy and ignorant.

I think those that believe we'll be nearly as bad as last year really don't grasp what BP brings to this team. They are disciplined, hard working, smart football people. BP has experience with all the people we now have.

Now this is no guarantee for success and we could still be a very bad team...any team could! But we aren't the "Wan-ban-cam" Dolphins this year. Even though we have a new inexperienced HC in Sparano, he is only one door down from one of the smartest, toughest HC every to coach a pro team and Sparano will use that experience early and often.

This isn't the 07 Dolphins, and we shouldn't be thought of as such...period!

I disagree with the final outcome but i do understand why people say we will suck, i mean after a 1-15 season what do you expect. I do believe we will be alot better than people think, just based on the running game alone. With a crappy o-line our RB's have always run well and with this new line we are gonna run all over the competition IMO!!!!!

Will we be 1-15 this year .... doubtful .... in 'my' rose colored glasses - I see 6-8 wins [mostly dependent upon QB and O-Line play]

QB and secondary is my main concern. But should I really be that concerned?

With a solid o-line and a top tier backfield, our QB only needs to manage the game.

As far as our secondary is concerned, each of our potential starters have proven to be capable enough to compete. Injuries have delayed this unit from establishing itself. Add in some hungry pass rushers and we may actually be ok here as well.

Let everyone think we will be 1-15 again. It's time we start catching a few teams by surprise.

I like the fact that everyone thinks we'll suck, we'll be under the radar for a good part of the season. We'll probably limp out of the gate while the team gets it together and start weakly, but gain momentum through the season and (hopefully) show some real promise going into '09. I like what BP brings to the team as well, and I hope that philosophy and work ethic sticks around after the Tuna moves on.

We very well could end up with a top 5 pick after this season.We will be a better team and our future is very bright but sit back and really look at what we got this year.We have a 2nd year qb or McClown starting throwing the ball to average wr's at best.Our line will be better but every team is going to send 7 or 8 guys to stop the run.So unless our defense comes threw big time we wont win many games this year.Im thinking we will go 5-11 or 6-10 and with that record we could get a top 5 pick!

Ive always said the same thing, poor ricky and ronnie having crappy lines and still lead the league etc. etc. . With a good oline i say ronnie sweeps the floor with LT. LT will have nothing on Brown.

Unless, Tony Sparano has some freak accident and we have to call on Cam Cameron to coach the team. Ricky Williams loses his fight with marijuana addiction, Ronnie Brown solidifies his spot as useless getting injured again, our QB plays like a rookie beck and our defense is as garbage as it was last year.

Whats the chance of that?
