Jason Taylor to wear #55 in Washington

I was snooping around and saw JT will wear # 55 in Washington, he says he want's a fresh start so thats why he picked a different number. Here's the link:

Another thing that bothers me is that, yeah i know he had to go and i feel good about the move (we need a new era) but it kinda hurts to see JT in a different uniform. I saw pics of him practicing with the Skins and thats when it really hit me

Zach and Taylor with the same number...now thats crazy... should be for excellent fodder when they play each other twice this year.

It is weird seeing him in those colors. The cool thing is I am still a JT fan and the Skins are my 2nd favorite team being thats where I was born and thats where I live. I'll be able to see him week in and week out.

JT said that he's leaving 99 in Miami and starting a new chapter in Washington.

Seems like both Zach and Taylor are leaving a piece of their hearts here.

Ummmm....he can say whatever he wants but the truth is that Andre Carter wears #99 in Washington. He could have tried to get it.....but it's not like the number was sitting there waiting for him and he choose 55 instead.

JT picked 55 because he likes double digit. He wore 33 in college. 55 at the Senior Bowl (he was MVP) and 99 at Miami. He also said 88 was a receiver, 77 is ugly, and 66 was for a lineman...so 55 was the one.

He did say today that he didn't finish discussing it with Carter yet....it's 55 for the time being, but things may change.

Personally, I like the 55 on him. New town, new number. Either way, I'm happy to see him in Washington - he was one of my favorite players outside of DC.
