You want us to trade for a 4 year veteran with only 32 career receptions? If he was worth trading for, San Diego would not have traded for Chris Chambers last year.

the guy is a special teams DEMON. but we just signed "Killer" Keith Davis, so it would be a waste to bring in yet another guy who's claim to fame is special teams play.
Osgood COULD be a decent receiver (should-have-been Super bowl MVP David Tyree is in the same mold)...but why trade for COULD?

seriously people...stop suggesting trades with anyone that wants to leave their current team. There are plenty of WRs in this years draft. Someone like Jordy Nelson would be nice

I wanted us to draft Osgood instead of his teammate JR Tolver. Osgood is now a two time pro bowler as a special teamer and Tolver like many of our other picks is not in NFL. Osgood is a good player still very undeveloped as a receiver but a great special teams player. I would trade a seventh for him.
