Keepers & Losers

I decided to make this trade as t osee who might be the next round of cuts. Below Im gonna make a list of the keepers and the guys I thnk should be cut. So, here we go.

Keepers

David Kirkus: The guy last night was our best reciever and looked like a gamer. Even if someone is signed I would really like to keep this guy. He is a veteran and has always made plays where he has been.

John Beck: The kid has more upside then McCown and can become a solid back up in this league. He seem to look a little bit better in yesterdays game.

Jalen Parlame: I love the way this kid runs. He just doesn't give up. He is pretty fast and is a good straight down runner.

Boomer Grigsby: What a fire on this guy, I love the way he plays the game. If he can pickup on his blocking I dont see him being released.

The Dline: WoW was I impressed by our D-line. Ferguson, Langford, Merling, Wright , Starks and Soliai all made solid contributions I think this might be one of the strongest units on our team.

Losers

McCown: Was it just me or did McCown look bad out there. He was going up against third teamers and did not display anything good. I think he will be cut and the team will stay with Beck just cause of his upside.

Jason Foyster: Okay I know he was awesome in college, but last night he looked real bad. He fumbled a Punt Return and failed to impress.

Ndukwe: The guy is horrible at the LT spot and whiffed a Blocker completely.

Matt Roth: This guy is lost in translation. Unless Anderson or Moses get Hurt the only was he stays is as a backup OLB. Merling Langford Holliday Soliai Starks and Wright are keepers I dont see Roth in the future plans of this team.

That it Dolfans, those are my Keepers and Losers feel free to comment....

Lighten up on Matt Roth , he was playing a new position, it may take him a couple more games, and I did'nt think he played too bad. Foster is what he is a undrafted college player but he has some good moves. Mc Cown will be traded to the Steelers for a 7th round pick, we will try to keep 4 qb's it's not hurting anything to do this , if anything it hurts Mccown's ability to get a new job when the season begins, let teams come to us if they like mccown, right now showcase him .

I don't think that's going to happen. The Steelers got unbelievably desperate and signed both Dumbte, and former Jaguars QB Byron Leftwich.

Thankyou! Foyster sucked and he did not display what many said he had which was speed and moves. He looked pretty slow and lost out there. Goodbye he is the weakest link. Roth pressure a little bit, but he looked really slow out there.

What?

Jason Ferguson alone scared Tampa.

JT did you catch the game. We got 3 or 4 sacks. Plenty of push from the first team. Not so much from the 3rd and 4th team late in the game.

i agree somewhat with JT though... we did get some push at times, a sack from our starter Ferguson... but for the most part there was not much pressure on the QB at all. but i am also a man that expects more and wants results... and i did like what isaw from our rookies, especially Langford.

I don't know why you don't have Henne on your keepers list unless he's just a given. I've seen a lot of complaints on the board about the game, but I gotta tell ya our first string beat their first string on both sides of the ball. That was good to see.

Beck will be a cut. I don't think this new FO likes him, gave him a chance to impress and he didn't. Expect the Depth to be Pennington, Henne, McCown at qb. Remember, this FO doesn't have anything invested in Beck, and they haven't been pleased about moves made previously with the organization. If Taylor and Thomas aren't safe, Beck should be back at Utah waiting for his new destination.

They're not going to cut him, they'll likely trade him, probably for a 6-7 pick.

As of right now he has the value of a practice squad player, no team will waste a pick.
