here is the truth.
jake long is better than fergurson can ever dream of being.
smiley is good but not better than faneca
satele is really good but so is mangold
carey is better than woody
i hat brett but u have 2 say brett is better than chad
our third string rb is better than the jets starter
i love ginn more than any 1 but u have 2 give the jets a edge in the wr department
i love our young d line, im gonna say push
the jets have us beat with corner backs
i think we have a slight edge with safteys
i love the jets lb harris but i think we have a edge on them in the lb department
the jets defitly have us beat in pass catching te
All I know is that Ricky is going to be juking, stiff arming, and running all over your supposed all pro defense next week while Chatman sits on the bench and Jones gets stuffed at the line over and over. LOL.
GO PHINS~!
and Gholston doesnt play, and favre gets broken

How can you say Long is better then Brick? Long hasn't even played a real game yet! Brick also is going to be borderline probowler this year.
Brick, if you mean debrickeshaw ferguson, your dreaming, he sucks, cant pass protect, and has given up about 10-13 sacks in the 3 or 4 years he has been in the league..
Pro Bowl? Jets fans are totally dilusional

He won't go to the probowl, but he will play at a high level, if you watched Jets games you would know that those stats are BS.A lot of it was his LG being so bad, you will see with Faneca being at LG Ferguson playing better. Plus Brick has been in the league 2 years, this is his 3rd. Hes not the scrub you make him out to be. He had his streaks of dominance, his problem is falling off towards the end. But he is bigger, smarter, and is going to have a big year most people around the Jets feel. Even Adam Shein (Bills fan) thinks so. He played amazing in preseason, you can see how much stronger he looks.

well for your sake i hope your right, i dont see it thought. I also do not take much stock into what most of the "analysts" (which schein doesnt eve n qualify for) say. most of them are bumbling itdiots who have no right whatsoever talking football (see entire ESPN crew minus Mort and Jaws). All i know is Brick has given up a crapload of sacks during his 2 yea career and does not excel in pass protection. For a 4th overall selection, i dont think he has proved his billing, but like i said, for your sake i hope he does this year, for mine, i hope he fails.. no offense

They seem to have a very good team this season. and all we have is a bunch of IF's
Lord... Why are people like this posting in Finheaven..... You should quit your job and tie yourself to an 800 pound rock, go to NY and throw yourself into the sea in front of the statue of liberty, wearing a Farve Jersey......
Please.... don't you dare doing this again

I heard Brett Favre say in an interview that he was worried about going up against Pennington. Maybe it's just the usual Favre modesty and mind games. Who knows. I wonder how quickly Favre is learning the Jets offensive system. He may be a great QB, but he seems like the kind of guy who's going to need 5-6 games before he gets in the groove with a new team. He might not be very "book smart". I hear that Terry Bradshaw was like that.
Pennington seems pretty smart. He might have absorbed the whole playbook already. Let's hope so. I don't want the coaches to overload him TOO much for the Jets game though. Keep things straightforward if possible. Run the plays that the coaches KNOW have a high probability of working.
I'll forget that Penny ever played for the Jets if he gets some sort of special chemistry going with Ted Ginn and makes him into a star. It would be great to see one of our QBs have reliable passing targets like we had with Marino and the Marks Brothers.
You know Dolphinsfan, its not about learning the playbook, its about the chemistry, thats what Favre always says, they will simplify the playbook for Favre for this game, they will make a gameplan and a certain amount of plays. Pennington will also be about the chemistry, sure hes smart, but having chemistry with the Wrs and stuff is the huge thing. From what I saw Pennington looked good, so did Favre though, difference was Favre takes shots down field, Pennington won't go downfield, maybe take a shot once in a while, like 1 time in 5 games will he go 40+ yards down field. You also got to figure this, when Pennington was a Jet, he could NOT beat a top tier defense. He got crushed by them, and he also was a reason our run game suffered, teams bring a extra guy in the box when you got Chad as your QB, very small Chance Chad beats you downfield. Chad doesn't attack a defense, so the defense can attack him, if that makes any sense? I am not saying this just because Chad is gone, most Jets fans wanted Chad gone! You guys will find out this year, and next year if hes still your starter.

so are the sessions that Tony, Bill and Paul called Chad into Tony's office to tell them all the Jets Offensive and defensive plays

Well, if one of our Chads doesn't work out, we can always try the other one. We'll have a double barrelled Chad offensive machine this year. The "2 Chads" and the "R & R Express" with Ronnie and Ricky. We'll have the 2 biggest Dolphin fans in New York City making lots of noise for us in the stands ... the "2 Michelles". We've got great fans. Cool Dolfan ladies.
Hopefully we're going to have "Turbo Ted" tearing up the NFL this year. Your DBs better not mess up covering Ted Ginn. All it takes is 1 or 2 steps of open space and there's a damn good chance he'll take it to the house. Ted is a PRIME TIME burner. 4.2 speed. Just ask anyone who watched Ohio State football. Our Oline is probably MUCH improved with #1 overall pick Jake Long and a few other new guys. Parcells and our GM really cleaned house in the offseason. We definitely have a lot of new faces for 2008. I wouldn't underestimate the Dolphins this year. We could shock some teams.
