The Patriots also had a good team a couple of years ago and we smacked them 21-0 at home.

The Denver Broncos came into our house in the season opener 3 years ago being 10 point favorites.. We wiped them clean pounding them by about 20 points.. Those boys from Denver couldn't take the heat and never knew what hit em wearing aqua and orange.

The bears "SEEMED" like they were best team in NFL history coming into our house 12-0 in 1985. We destroyed them in a total A$$ whipping.

A couple years ago the Bears were 7-0 and we were 1-6.. The Bears "SEEMED" to be the better team. We killed them that day.

You may need to reconsider your definition of "seems" , The Jets are going down September 7th, and going down hard. Just like those teams did at the hands of the mighty Aqua and Orange.

I hope you are right but if you look at both teams, the Jets have the advantage. I just hope if we lose that everyone doesnt blame Pennington. I think he is a good QB and will win many games for us. The Jets just seem to be a very strong team this season with Favre under center.

i think the jests are a group of talented individuals but not a team. we on the other hand have a handful of team players with a chip on our shoulders and a lot to prove and have a whole different attitude from last year.

I am looking for reinforcement. this game really worries me. And there is a lot of pressure on Pennngton to beat his old team.

I agree withh the Chip but don't you think the 4-12 Jets and Favre getting kicked out of his home town have a chip?

pressure can be a positive thing at times. i choose not to look at it as pressure but as revenge. penny will show NY what they lost and will throw a pass 40+ yards.

Half of the Jets victories last year were against the worst team in the league. Getting a geezer like Favre doesn't make them a good team.
