why can't we be like some of those other teams who gets an undrafted or late pick guy and he turns into tony romo???

just not our luck i guess.

Well it wasn't luck that made Tony Romo good, it was Sean Payton's hard work. Romo took three years of Sean's time before he became this guy.

says beginning of team drills beck got sacked like 4 times in a row, but werent his fault. Said we are having protection issues on the OL. Defenders are blowing by the line barely being touched.

Sounds like our offensive line had a pretty damn rough day.

agreed, but you still have to have game smarts and ingenuity.....you can't teach that.

Boy it sounds like the defense showed up to this pads practice but the offensive line guys definitely did not. Pressure from all directions. Hard to get your quarterbacks on track when Vonnie Holliday, Channing Crowder, Yeremiah Bell and the like are blowing in untouched...the latter straight up the middle which Sparano just got done saying before practice is the quickest way to affect a quarterback.

Sparano said he was going to make more difficult that it will be during games. So the offense, game can slow down for them in real situations.

Parrot, what has John Beck shown you that leads you to believe he has the tools to be a starting qb in the NFL?

I don't know what he's doing, other than having the defensive linemen run games and stunts on the OL which I think to this point you normally wouldn't see...and plus having that 3 second timer and alarm go off which gives the QBs another thing to think about...but it does sound like quite the difficult environment for the QBs with all the jailbreak pressure coming straight through the OL. Perhaps he's coating the DLs with vaseline? Something.

this defense wasn't exactly world beaters last year. i know there's some new depth and talent but we're not talking the 85 bears here, it's concerning on top of all the other damn concerns we have right now.

What has Chad Henne or Josh McCown shown you that leads you to believe that he has the tools to be a starting QB in the NFL? What has Brady Quinn shown you? What has Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco shown you? Or Jamarcus Russel? Kevin Kolb?

Just because a promising prospect hasn't had the opportunity to show you something yet doesn't mean he never will.
