Depth, Depth, Depth. If he pans out, he'll be a ST starter and spot player for us on D. IF he doesn't, then he hits the road sometime during/end of camp. Get use to having a lot of depth at certain spots going into camp so we can find the best option and dump the rest. I like the move. Make guys earn their spots instead of just handing it over to certain guys.

Don't forget about Travis Daniels, though they may let him compete at CB because of the safety depth.

I really like Tuff Harris . . . but he will have a LOT of competition.

NFL radio has alluded to Jeff Fischer's analysis on safeties a few times.

he said safeties are the most injury prone position(not news to us I guess)

it makes this signing look really smart

Now that I have had a chance to look at this pick this is the best pickup we have had other than the WR from the Jags Wilford and Smily from the 49ers Ol as far as filling a need for a starter. Crocker should very well be a starter for us along with Allen to start the season. Hill and Bell maybe better but until they come back from their injuries no-one knows so this gives us great depth. Now we need a shutdown corner and our back field is looking better.
