According to the GETS training camp reports his arm was longer stronger than in has been in the past three years. He was beating Clemen out for the job easily. We need to look at him, bring him in, let him throw I think we will be surprised. Plus he used to kill us, he was making every freakin throw then.

PS. Do you guys remember that game in 06 when he threw the ball up the middle to Cotchery in the rain into the wind for that long gain, his arm looked fine then and if its better now, bring him in!!!

Yeah, I remember that play. The timing was perfect on the throw. If he becomes a Dolphin, I will root for him no doubt. I just hope he proves me wrong.

Man I'm sooo on the fence about this if we pick him up. Part of me says that he is a accurate QB that has experience and will probably give this team its best shot at winning this year. Then the other part of me says that he can take a team to the playoffs, but how much further is Chad Pennington going to take your team?? Its hard going from having the upmost, I dont want to say hatred, but one step under that to rooting for a guy to be on your team. Obviously once he is on the team, I'll like the guy a ton.

Any Jet-Hater is a good Friend of mine. C'mon down Chad, none of our QB's are stepping up to the plate.

I can't attest to his current arm strength, but he has always been one of the more accurate passers around. He's also one of the smarter QB's around. If his arm looks as lively (for him) as I keep hearing, he represents a huge upgrade for us, and probably several more wins if he stays healthy.

If He gets a three year contract and plays well the Dolphins can either play him while grooming the kid or trade him for some value. If he plays like crap he will still be a leader and mentor for the rookie. How can you lose with a class pro like that. Take a chance! Bring him in and give him a chance to start! He will be so motivated from the start with the season opener against the Jets. Chad loved the Jets orginization but he wasnt happy with the fan base. A victory over the Jets in Week 1 how sweet.
Chad loved the organization but didn't love the fan base? That's a silly statement.

I watched the game last year when they applaud when he got hurt just to see Clementine come in and play. Would you like fans like that, I dont think Dolphins would do that regardless we thought he sucked or not.

We booed Fiedler when he completed passes that "didn't look good".
We ran Sammie Smith out of town after two game breaking fumbles. Miami fans are very capable of being nasty.

A chance to start. A chance to make the Jets look bad. A chance to work with Henning again, who he is familiar with so there is no new offense for him to learn...... Coming to a place where he is truly wanted (Parcells drafted him and wants him back).. Staying in the AFC East playing against defenses he knows like the back of his hand... Coming to a good running game with an improved O-line with some solid backs.... He will have another "Chad" to mentor.. Some nice weather, nice girls in so florida. Probably it's all just too much to pass up..

Chad is smart enough to understand what was happening, they weren't cheering b/c he got hurt they were cheering b/c the Jets were struggling and everyone wants a QB change when the team is struggling. I was there and I was embarrassed but Chad is smart enough to understand what was going on, he went through it in the other role in 2002.

The Dolphins is probably the best opportunity for Chad to be a starter. If he comes he'll just be the Gus Frerotte of 2008 (albeit a weaker arm).

Chad is a better QB then Frerotte...i dont understand why people make chad out to be a bad or mediocre QB people need to go take a look at his stats, they are pretty impressive.
