Have you watched any of the Jet Miami games. In 06, and he hasnt injured his shoulder since, matter of fact everyone is saying his arm strength is better now, Chad threw some nice passes, specifically the one to Cotchery for a touchdown that got them into the playoffs. You may not like him but to say he is not better than what we have is rediculous.

If we are looking to sign a quarterback, and the available options are Quincy Carter or Chad Pennington.....

I think it's a no-brainer.

What this team needs right now is a leader on offense that can instill some confidence into these receivers and Mccut doesn't provide that let alone Beck and Henne.

Just let Pennington and Beck battle it out and see who comes out on top. It's a win-win in my book.

Pennington has a house in my neighborhood. lol. I live at Bird Key is Sarasota, FL. His vacation house is like 3 streets away from mine. lol. Ive talked to him before but that was back when they jets would beat us two times a year with him at QB so i was usually a prick. I would love to have him. He usually gets away after the seasons over. Usually stay for a few months.

Let's get Chad in here. Call me crazy, but I think that makes us at least a .500 team next year, maybe even 9-7. We've already got a great running game, just need someone that can help move the chains a bit and we're set.

Do you all get some fishin in there? I've seen a show once where Chad was fishin for some largemouth bass, I believe.

I'd give Chad a one year contract just to see him come in here and beat the Jets on opening day. Then he can just help groom Little Chad into an NFL QB. And while he is add it he help groom Beck, then next year let all three of them duke it out, but to beat the Jets on opening day its all worth it.
