How come there is no such term as "McCown Hater" or "McCown Basher" around here. If you say these type of things about Beck(and they apply to Beck much better) then the torches and pitchforks come out.
Speaking of torches......dont give one to Beck. He will drop it and burn down whatever building he is in or if outdoors start a wildfire that would make California look like a small campfire.
You seem to be making up stories saying "if this if that" when in real life not someones imgination McCown is even dumb enough to be near a chainsaw or axe a couple of weeks from training camp and have stitches in his throwing hand. I want any qb we have to do great but dont back up mcown if your talking smack about beck & if chad plays and has a some bad games i wonder if you'll let him slide because hes a rookie but you wouldnt do that for beck a ROOKIE. Elway had a 0.0 qb rating in his first start just to let you know and probably 80% qbs that are rushed do bad.
"Josh McCown told Tyler television station KETK that he was holding the firewood and his brother, a backup quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, made the mistake of cutting his finger instead of the firewood."
In a related story, Tampa Bay head coach announces today that he's "not happy" with quarterback Luke McCown's accuracy.
you guys act like you think McCown is the answer at QB, worried about his finger. he's been in the league for years and still hasn't proven himself. this frustrates me about the Dolphins that they keep signing these mediocre QB's as a temporary fix and they all end up sucking. We need to start Beck this year, see what he can do and be getting Henne prepared for the NFL style of game. Forget McCown, he'll just be another notch in the list of bad signings at QB for the Phins.
Now, im from central Florida so we rarely need to chop wood or anything like that but, can anyone tell me if its common for someone to hold a peice of wood for someone else who is swinging an axe.
Maybe just me but im not holding anything that someone is swinging an instrument of death or dismemberment at.

No. Not only is it not common, it's frankly pretty stupid.

A couple of weeks ago? What the hell is the story doing in the news today? For Christ sake, I'd really read another article about Favre. At least that news is from this month!!
