The difference I think is Henne was able to move the team and score points, Beck was not.

Henne looked poised, Beck still looks rattled.

Don't get sensitive. We all appreciate your observations especially at training camp.

We just sometimes see different things just like the reporters looking at the same practice make make different observations and conclusions.

Also, seeing it on tv versus being there can also make a difference in what you see.

Keep on posting.

Nice report. But, there was a thing in the Miami Herald about Dan Carpenter and he was quoted as saying that the team wanted him to do more directional/hangtime type of kickoffs in that game.

You're right, I did overreact here. I'm sorry about that guys, maybe I just need a breather from all of this for a good 24hrs. I'm totally burnt out, and it's been infecting my better judgement. I'll keep posting

Beck only had one ball batted at the line of scrimmage.

Which is the same number of balls that Chad Henne had batted at the line.

And Beck fumbled the ball, Henne didn't... As a matter of fact, of all 7 QB's who played in the game for both teams, only butterfingers Beck fumbled the ball-, that is no coincidence as the guy is bumbling fumbling machine.

Joe Flacco fumbled this week. Matt Ryan fumbled the ball twice. Sage Rosenfels, Matt Cassel, Matt Guttierez, Brodie Croyle, Kyle Orton and Todd Collins all fumbled.

Not exactly a rarity among NFL quarterbacks to lose control of the football a little bit when they get hit in the blind side. He didn't lose complete control of the football or have it knocked away, the ball stayed with him and he was able to fall on it as he was being sacked.

Being a bit picky.

you listed 2 rookies and career backups, not a strong argument. Though I do agree it is being overblown. Hasn't proved to still be a problem this yr....yet.
