Odds of us beating the Jets

I am sure we are all thinking this, but haven't seen it posted. With Pennington as our QB opening day(and this isn't set in stone) I think we have a pretty good chance at beating the Jets based on his knowledge of their defense and their defensive players. He knows which DB's like to play over/under their receiver, blitz schemes, etc. I wonder if he was brought in just for that reason, to almost guarantee us two wins this year.

I say we have a great shot at winning the game. Brett will only know about 50% of the offense and our QB hopefully will be the best its been in a while. Were at home.

I say 50/50.

I dont think CP was brought over just because of his knowledge of the Jets Team, I think it was more because of:

*Knowledge of AFC opponents in General
*His Maturity
*On paper he was much better then anything we had who was going to start gm 1.
*To give Henne and even Beck a proper Mentor

I think the Jets are definitely a better team overall, but a rusty and bored Favre along with our improved spirit and coaching gives us a decent chance.

It all depends on what Pennington can do. If comes back liek the Chad of old I think we can win more than a few games if not well it cant get much worse
