Saturday is a BIG DAY.....

I have to believe that for a team in a rebuilding mode, as we are, Saturday can and will produce many a shopping spree. There are several teams that are stocked with talent that will be forced to cut some key players who could potentially make an immediate impact on our young roster. It is a given that several of those players will be superior to the players that we cut and there should be a few that should be able to make the cut right onto our top 53. Does anybody have their crystal ball out and have any ideas as to who might be on the Phins radar screen Come Saturday evening???

We have a little more then 24 hours until we have to be down to the 53 man roster limit. I have a feeling the turk has visited a few players already.

saturday's also going to be a big day for some of the college football games that'll be played this weekend...like Ohio State and Southern Cal for example.

I guarantee you will. There's no question you guys will pick up some guys that have been cut by other teams.

My guess is some depth on the o-line. I'm hoping we can pick up a young player or two with good potential that we can develop.

the 54th and 55th best players on many teams will be better than guys in the 30's and 40's on our team. knowledge of the system and whether or not they play special teams will be part of the decision making, but saturday will be an opportunity to significantly upgrade the lower third of our roster.

Exactly where I was coming from. Teams that are stocked with talent like NYG, NE, MN, SD, JAC, IND.....etc. should definitely have some hidden gems that can be snatched up before they get placed on the practice squads of their respective teams and whom would have an immediate impact on the Phins. We shall see.....

well yeah, they'll sign some no name guys and what not but i really dont see miami going after any of the 'big' names that get cut. Every team picks up a few guys here and there but those same players usually get cut rather quickly.
