Shopping Beck and McCownI guess there is reason behind not letting McCown and Beck take snaps. Don't want to injure the potential trade candidates

I think we all knew this was coming after we signed Pennington. I'm just wondering which one is going to get traded. It's a shame we didn't start shopping them before the Steelers signed Leftwich. They might have had a little interest in one of the two.

Which one is traded? The one who can get us more in return, if anything.

More bad drafting going out the door. Thanks Cameron what an ofensive genius. Probably have to watch Quinn be a star qb for 10 years just so we can have some salt in our wound. The whole nation said take Quinn but no we had a genius working on our side. Kick returner was what we needed the most. I cannot for the life of me understand how every draft expert in the world was amazed at how Quiinn had fallen to us in the draft and we took Beck. Nobody is going to trade for one of these qbs when they can pick them up off the waiver wire. You may get a six pack but we are not talking about an import beer. According to rate beer Olde English is the worst beer there is. You always see the bums drink it because it is cheap and strong alcohol. The kind Cameron would be drinking if I was his boss.

When Beck was drafted no one thought it was a bad pick. I'm still not convinced it was a bad pick. We're just too impatient. I hope he has success elsewhere if he's traded/released.

I think they will hold on to both for a while. See how it goes this weekend and maybe next. Should anyone get hurt it could change things in a hurry. But they will cut one of them in the next few weeks if they can't trade them. If I was a fan of either Beck or McCown then I would hope it was my guy so they might get a chance elsewhere. Does not look to be happening here.

Oh I think quite a few did. After we drafted "The Ginn Family" and did not get Quinn it seems as though it was not that well recieved. Happy they drafted a QB but I think for some time the Quinn backers were not happy. He looked good the other night by the way. |

McCown will never get it ... Beck might get it -- but its gonna take him at least 2 more years. He isn't going to get that here, because Henne will be starting then.

I guess I should have said none of the "experts" thought it was a bad pick at that 2nd round position. Of course most were baffled by our passing of Quinn.
