two types of players that miami could really use thread.

when looking at our roster the two things that I can see us needing is

1) a defensive Tackle like Jamal Williams and another cb like Patrick Surtain we may have young players but do we really have a stud at these positions ? that is what is on my mind today .

2) Miami needs two more olinemen for depth but will we be ok if one or two players get hurt ? I think it wouldnt hurt to get more depth here.

so guys tell me what type of player would set miami up to to win the division ? I think cb, dt and another olineman would help alot.

I think it's safe to say every team in the league could use Jamal Williams and Pat Surtain type players.

These guys are going to want tons of money. Tons of money they don't exactly deserve. Plus we don't have any extra money.

Yes I would agree with you on your observations but other than the veteran CB I believe that the dolphins brass has figured this out before the draft more than most fans give them credit for. I think the NT and OL postions are covered more than we realize. Still areas of concern though

A NT that demands double teams everytime, and a consistent, playmaking ILB

I'm gonna go with a NT like Jenkins or Wilfork. And a ILB with a Ray Lewis kind of demeanor. We would be set.

I agree we need a NT that demands double coverage everytime and an ILB.......We are thin at both positions.

to me i always think depth should be in the o line and d line always because if u got a good core everything else can look better. Example tom in 06 with hardly no weapons made it as far as face colts for the afc champs with a great o line, but lost it (haha... sorry i cant show too good sportsmen ship) same with their success in 07 good o-line with moss made things scary with took them to the super bowl with 18 wins, but fell over and died. And they call tom a clutch qb yeah if he has a whole team... Come on if you have a o line and a wr like moss even John beck can go to the super bowl and win it with that.

our biggest weakness last year was getting pressure on the quarterback . we do need a more reliable run stuffer. when we had tim bowens and d gardner we shut down the run. we need corner help but may have found it in our two rookies. and we also need a guard.

i agree did u watch our last game. i know why Ravens qb had so much success look at that o line. Our d line seem like they where sitting down giving their qb like 10 seconds to throw the ball. our o line only gave chad a good 3 seconds if lucky.
