What about RODRIQUE WRIGHT?

He is playing good, we have alot of talent along this Dline with him, Merling, Langford and STarks . . . all currently backups. Fin fans should feel excited about the future of this Defense . . . it looks VERY promising.

Heerspink blocked Wright well today. Either Heerspink is good or Wright is terrible.

I suspect that Wright may be the odd man out. He's just "another guy," not a difference maker by any stretch. He just doesn't have explosion that we hope to get from the likes of Langford and Merling. With Starks, Holliday, and Roth also around, he may miss making the roster unless there is an injury. Just a hunch. He would basically be the 6th 3-4 end. That is one too many, barring injury.

Wright is running 4th-string. I guess that's behind 3rd string Lionel Dotson and Anthony Toribio.

Being the only 4th stringer on the d-line... or the worst-ranked d-lineman on the team is not a good place to be.

my guess is that we're gonna end up keeping matt roth and cutting rod wright and i think we're gonna regret it down the road.

i haven't heard roths name come up 1 time in camp blogs as far as making a play.

Sparono said don't put to much stock in the depth chart. He said he only released one b/c the NFL requires it. He said he placed players by seniority. He also said the depth chart could change by the afternoon practice.

Why does it always have to be, one guys is good and the other is terrible??? is it possible they are both decent players, and on that particular play, one got the best of the other? some people on here just don't get it.
