i hope we get Donte' Stalloworth, he adds so much speed to our WR core and Booker wouldn't be a bad slot WR either.. As long as Stallworth comes for right price then yes, im for it.
As for Kelley Washington, i really like him and his return game. We should sign him. He should have been our first siging of the year not Donald Martin, but o well right.. So come on Muller work you magic and bring Stallworth and Washington in!

Evidentally you haven't seen the receivers at CIN. There is a log jam there of talent. Kelly is just on the outside looking in. I would LOVE to have him. He is 6'3" 218 lbs and can jump up to get the ball. Being a huge gator fan, we saw a lot of him while he played at TN. Very athletic and I wouldn't mind having him at all.

I agree. I'm pretty sure they want to talk to Stallworth before making a move. Curtis makes me a little nervous. He's always been touted as being the next best thing in STL, but he's never overtaken Bruce. And if in that offense you can't put up decent #'s as a WR . . . . I'd be interested in DS or Washington before going with Curtis. Not much has been said about Booker these last couple weeks. Wonder if that's good or bad for him ?

I don't think we let Donte go w/o a contract. We've already given Welker to the Pats for some draft picks and since NE has already offered Donte a contract, I believe he'll be a Dolphin.
I don't see our FO letting him sign with NE (meaning we'll outbid them)

Exactly like I said. Hasn't eclipsed 400 yards once. Not even 1,000 yards for his career in 4 seasons. So, I ask again. Why would you want him?

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind signing Washington. I would rather have another WR like Stallworth or trade for Moss or via draft. I just don't have the optimistic expectations that some of you do of him being an upgrade over anything we have now. That's all. If we do sign him, I hope he proves to be more than what I expected.

There isn't much to say about Hagan, until the QB camps start back up ... and Cam gets to see where he is at ....
Bottom Line is that we need a #1 WR .... Hagan is not that, at least at this point. Stallworth is a gamble with the drug program, so Washington is the 'safer' bet, albeit, he brings limited experience ... equally, he does practice with the best WR duo in the game today -- so that should be worth something. Let's let Cam sort thru it .... but, if we do bring either of these 2 in, then either Booker or CC has to go. No question about that. For me, its CC -- at least Booker has earned his keep, even with the injuries. |

I'm not worry about WR right now....we can always get Ginn or Mechean(sp?)on draft day.
