No, what makes you think that?

Maybe not, but you are and you have a hard time thinking a team can turn things around in one offseason esppecially the hated Dolphins. So lets not lose perspective here. I think most Dolphin fans are cautiously optimistic about this season. The more we see this team in pre season the more we like what we are seeing.

See you can look at it as just preseason, but what we see is a team that wants to win, they're hungry. The Jets were just 4-12 last year and have not been a dominat team in years. It's not like your the Pats and we are going to your house to play. Plus it a divisional game, they are never easy and you'll be in our house. So while you come across with these confident undertones, believe me when I say we think our team is much better than last year and many of us think we'll be a pretty good team this year.

I don't have a hard time thinking a team can turn it around in 1 season, it happens all the time. We have done it twice in our past 4 seasons. I expect you guys will win 6-7 games and if things break right maybe more. I certainly do not base predicitions off of preseason, if you guys do well it won't be b/c you played well in preseason. Where did I say the jets would easily beat the dolphins? Go find my posts about 1-15 teams the following year, all except the 1981 Saints won their opener the following year. I have said all along I'm concerned. I think we are better and I expect to win, that doesn't mean we will win.

Wow, so far three Jet fans have come here and said they do not believe someone is a Jets fans because the person believes they might lose?

So what are you guys saying, that all Jets fans are homers, and picking against thier team is a clear indication they are not to they claim to be?

Just like there are quite a few Dolphin fans here that have said Miami might lose, there has to be Jets fans that will believe differently also, after all this is a very close game to call, and either side can make a very good case.

He's a Jets fan, he's just trying to suck up and fit in!

Stop with that mutual respect crap, you know you HATE the Dolphins and want to beat the tar out of them just as we (or at least i) do the Jets. I hate the Jets and their fans and i expect the same from their fans. Lovefestsweaken rivalries! Go to depths and start a fight!

Of course I hate the Lphins, that doesn't mean I don't think they have a chance to win. I hate Tom Brady and the Pats more, but I think they have a chance to beat us (very slight chance)</sarcasm>. I have a handful of Dolphins fan friends, they're good people, they just made a very poor decision somewhere along the way. Everyone makes mistakes in life.

I dont know how they gonna do it, but I would really love to see the Fins kick the Jets out of the stadium.

Other Jets fans telling me I'm not a real Jet fan because I'm willing to call a spade a spade on a Fins board. This is priceless. I've been a Jet fan my entire life, but if that doesn't qualify for you guys, go ahead and join the Chad-bashing circle-jerks at Jetsinsider.com. In the meantime I'm going to state the facts as I see them and get some feedback from the Fins folks here.

If the Jets win I will have been proven false. And I'll be the happiest person alive, too.

Why not 10 and the playoffs?

I don't think the wins and loses in preseason were my point, it's been the attitude, defensive schemes. The hustle to the ball, players stepping up Like Ginn and Crowder. The way the Defense is flying to the ball, there are many reason why I have confidence in this team based on this preseason.

So far this preseason we are top 4 in defense. Maybe no big deal in the grand scheme of things, but we are doing things differently then we have in recent years and it shows.

I never said you did, but you jump on another fan who may/maynot be a Jet fan, but you say they're not. Based on what? Not having faith in Farvre's heart? Thinking Ricky will light up the Jets? You have no more clue then anyone else what Favre thinks and what Ricky will do come game time. My point is we all have opinions and teams improve all the time. The Guys post was not over the top, just a simple opinion.

And I never said Favre doesn't have heart. That'd be a ******* statement. I said he has nothing left to prove and won't have as much heart as the Dolphins, who have everything to prove. And no one has as much heart as Chad, who now runs this Dolphin offense.

I just have a really bad feeling about this game. I'm sure there are plenty of Jets fans that look at this game position by position and figure, on paper we have the more talented players and therefore we win. Well, folks, football is played on a field, not on paper, and you only need to look as far as the NY Yankees to know that talent doesn't buy you wins and championships. Heart, desire, smarts, endurance, and a good portion of luck wins you games and championships. And when it comes to luck the Jets have always sucked the hairy one.

Your screen name says it all. You are a fan of the name on the back of the jersey, not the team.

C'mon man use that thing between your ears. The Jets are the favorite against a hated division rival and this guy who claims to be a Jets fan says: The jets WILL lose, and this is why ...

If he said the Jets COULD lose this game, and this is why ...
We probably wouldn't have a problem with it.

He's not saying he thinks they could lose, he's saying they will. Do you see the difference?

Maybe if we were big underdogs I could see saying we will lose, but c'mon. Some of his points are ridiculous to boot.
