Today's Downtime

Unfortunately - we were down for a few hours today due to a database outage. The good news is that we recovered to a database back-up from just a few hours before the db-outage.

Recovering the data from the back up went smoothly, but building the indexes (used for the Search, New posts, Todays Posts, etc) was taking forever. In order to bring the site up ASAP we decided to bring it up without the indexes and build those later.

The implications are that for the rest of today you wont be able to Search, or access the menu item New Posts or Today's Posts. We will take the site down late tonight, starting at around 2 AM EDT, to rebuild the DB indexes and we should be able to bring it up with the Search, etc before 8 AM EDT.
