Chargers vs. Saints in London in 2008The NFL has decided on the Chargers vs. the Saints to play in London on October 26, 2008.
It's the Saints home game that will be lost. http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports...7chargers.html

i have to say i don't agree with this at all. being from louisiana i can only imagine that it is not a great time to try and get saints fans to fly across the world to see them play. now im not saying i think the majority of sainst fans are poor and cant afford it but jeez didn't they lose a ton of home games already due to the canes?
then they want them to drop everything to fly to london? alot of sense goodell..think about that when you see a major majority of charges fans at a "home" saints game. we just got our home back and you want us to leave again? |

the whole idea of the NFL anywhere outside the U.S. is a joke. plus they play on a crummy field that ruins any chance of a good game.
You're just better off staying here. you go to canada; they think football is hockey. you go to spain or london; they think it's soccer. you go to australia; they're not really sure what kind of football you're playing, since they have their own rules. It's just a terrible idea. |

I really don't understand why the NFL is making the Saints give up a home game, when they obviously need them the most in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

saints fans are livid, the saints are the last team a home game should be taken away from, each home game brings local business' approx. 4 million dollars a game, our city is nowhere near back to being normal and we need every penny we can get, this team means more to our city than any other team in the league, the nfl screwed our whole city when they made this decision
