He said "at this point of his career". He was comparing him to Texas Tech Welker, not Patriot Welker. I think I have to agree as Douglas was drafted and Welker wasn't.
Chris Carter also made a good point that current Wes Welker is just a product of having Randy Moss next to him. |

Personally, I dont like Cris Carter. He's such a Randy Moss *** kisser that I can't stand him. Perhaps after Moss was drafted, he too was a product of having Randy Moss next to him? Carter was a good receiver but he seems to think he was great...
