I like Chillar, Daunte and Jackson.
Chillar is bound for Arizona. Daunte could have ended up here but we chose McCown instead. I would have rather taken Daunte. Grady Jackson is a BIG guy. I think he could have been a NT here, just to plug up the middle and open holes. Wilson is interesting. |

The Rams and Cardinals are left to bid for his services. Chillar favors playing in the desert, but Arizona remains hamstrung with Larry Fitzgerald's contract still unsigned. St. Louis' chances of retaining Chillar are growing. Source: Arizona Republic |

Packers signed OLB Brandon Chillar to a two-year, $5.2 million contract. Another $800,000 is available in incentives. Chillar doesn't possess the upside most 25-year-olds do, but isn't weak in any area and plays a hard to find position on the strong side. Brady Pop***** will likely now come off the bench, though there will be competition. The Pack will have linebacker depth in 2008, something it got away without last year. i thnk the most intriging player here is kris wilson. he's a versatile hback type who i believe could be a nice addition for a team trying to develop a young qb (whether it be ryan or beck)
personally i think itd be great to get colvin just because itd be nice to take somebody else's player from our division instead of always losing ours. not the most practical signing but still a good player who certainly has some mileage left. |
