Colt Fans Out in Full ForceThe city of Indianapolis was in a near riot state this week after local residents flooded the streets to welcome home it's Super Bowl champion Colts.
It's clear that after after a 40+ year drought, the city was dying for a champion. But no one could have foreseen the chaos and pandemonium that would rule these streets. One thing is clear: Indianapolis is obsessed with its Colts. ![]() Look at that. The Colts players are so scared of these miscreants, they're climbing up the roof of the truck. #72 is so shaken that he's resigned to lying down in the back of the truck with his hood on. This is because he's apprehensive and unsure of what this bloody mob might do to him. But it's clear that he's given up. ![]() Here we see a motorcycle cop, out-gunned and out-manned. Notice the way he's ducking his head down to avoid making eye contact with one of the savages. This photo was obviously taken in slow motion. In reality, the officer was traveling 40 mph. ![]() Here we see two team trucks emerging from the 7th level of hell.....and into the 6th. The other trucks weren't so lucky. While their location is unknown in this photo, the smart money say they were swallowed up and devoured by the blood-thirsty crowds. It is clear, at least to this writer, that the citizens of Indianapolis were on a mission. And that mission was to throw the biggest post-Super Bowl jam ever. And they succeeded. From a sheer numbers standpoint, it's clear that the city of Pittsburgh, host to last season's parade of champions, has officially been 'served'. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yeah Muck but it was like 5 degrees in Indy, and I think it was around 30 degrees in Pittsburgh last year for the Steeler's parade. All I have to say is there better be about a million people out there when Miami wins it.

That's what I was going to say. I wonder how many Miamians would come out to welcome the Dolphins if they won the SB, heck, if they even went to the playoffs.

Roman & NJ are probably right about the weather being the cause for the bad turn out, but the comparison of the two is still funny regardless...

It's not like it's foreign to them. Just like the hot weather down here.
When the Heat won the championship, 250,000 people packed downtown Miami for he parade and festivities. And that was mid-day in late June. The dead of summer. Hot and humid baby. People waited for HOURS outside the AAA, where the team was speaking. The police actually lost control of the thing. When Shaq got off his float to get near the fans, the fans overran the barracades. Here's a shot from the steps of the AAA. ![]() The Miami area would be out in full force if the Phins brought one home. I'd take the day off from work and drive my *** down to Miami just to be there.

The Dolphins are Miami's team. Miami is a football city, id expect a very large crowd if Miami was to win the big one.

miami is a championship team, verry little true fans down here,
however being so, if the phins won a superbowl I predict pandamonia with a few deaths. |
