Cook Pushing Favre To Play?http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/...favre-to-play/
Though the precise discussions between “retired” quarterback Brett Favre and his agent, Bus Cook, likely are known only to Favre and Cook, some league insiders are assuming that Cook is pushing Favre to play in 2008. The assumption is based on a perception that Cook has been yapping openly (but not yet publicly) about Favre’s supposed desire to play in 2008. Because Favre seems, at least superficially, to be content with the notion of retirement, the assumption then is that Cook is trying to get Favre to change his mind and unretire.

He can still play, he's still better than most starting quarterbacks in the league right now. He should be playing, if he wants to.

That's a tough decision. If he is content to be retired, nobody should push him to play.

from rotoworld
Former NFL personnel man Mike Lombardi writes in his blog that one Packers player told him Brett Favre is giving "real consideration" to making a return. Lombardi, a 20-year veteran executive, recently worked in the Raiders' and Broncos' front offices, writes for SI.com and started a blog a few months back. He doesn't have the same standards as bigger news sources, but undoubtedly has connections. The Packer told Lombardi that Favre would consider returning with another team if Green Bay won't take him back. Favre was recently placed on the reserve/retired list, however, and the Packers own his rights. |

Aaron Rodgers must be getting pretty ****ed up with all this ****e surrounding Favre's alleged comeback. Nearly every week there seems to be a new story surrounding it.
If Favre wants to play then he should just go back playing. If he does'nt then he should tell his agent to shut the **** up and stop being a ********.

I am absolutely sick of Favre! We have to hear the same thing every offseason about this guy. He's alway all about himself and it's getting real old! The Packers need to take a stand and just move on without him. Aaron Rodgers has waited patiently and has earned his opportunity.
