Cowboys sign Hamlin..

Dont know if there is a thread about the signing yet but If he signed for $2.5 mill for 1 year then Miami is the mother of all ****ups.

Hes a definite upgrade over any SS we have would make a perfect match with either Laron Landry or Reggie Nelson with our 1st pick in this draft.

Very reasonable price for a Pro Bowl saftey....I just cant see the fit with Roy in Dallas because neither of them can cover the deep ball.

SS arent suppose to cover the long ball..They cover the short to intermediate routes and come up for run support.

How many safeties does this team need they already have Hill, Bell and Jason Allen who was a first round pick last year and some also want to draft LaRon Landry.

Bell isnt signed at all!!...Hill isnt that great and Allen is a mystery while Hamlin is a lock to be a top 10 or better SS.

Honestly do u go into the season with just 2 S's signed?

Bell has been signed to a second round tender, Hill exceeded everyones expectations last season and just because Allen is a mystery doesn't mean you just give up on him. They already have their starting safeties why go sign another starting safety.
