ESPN : Moss Not Going GB / And Qb M. Shuab Back On The Block

I was just watching ESPN, and a segment came saying that the Packers are not going to trade for WR R. Moss, they don't want to trade away Qb A. Rodgers, and will likely wait until Moss is released....

They also said that the Atlanta Falcons are shopping Qb Matt Shaub, and could be willing to accept less than the 1st + 3rd they originally had been seeking. They listed Miami as a potential new home among a few other teams....

Given that this draft only has two legitimate QB prospects getting Schaub would not be a bad move if we really are intending to get younger.

The thing about Schuab is that he is pretty much unproven and plays in a system that is nothing like ours....

With that being said...Do you guys remember The last time the Falcons had a QB they where high on, but didnt have the ball to give a chance??

Ill give you some clues:

1)He was born in Kiln, Mississippi
2)We played his college ball at Southern Mississippi
3)He was drafted in the second round
4)The Falcons recieved a first round draft choice for him, when he hadnt even thrown a TD in the NFL
5)The team that aquired him was laughed at by the rest of the NFL
6)Ron Wolfe loved him
7)He is the second best QB ever (Behind Dan Marino)
