FAVRE coming back... MARINO's records fall

As Dolfan Stan , I 'm a huge MARINO fan.

With Brett Favre coming back for the 2007 season... Dan Marino's records will continue to fall. Most TD's comes to mind...

As a MARINO collector since 1985 , his value has plummeted in recent years.

Records are made to be broken, but given the fact that MARINO has never won a super bowl and his NFL records continue to fall... so does his collectible value. Not winning the BIG One really hurts in the long run as a collector.

Marino's ROOKIE Topps 1984 Football Card has taken the biggest hit recently.

With Namath, Elway, Brady, Favre, all winning Bowl games there value continues.

Just look at a Fran Tarkenton card these days... and you will see.


I'm not saying MARINO collectibles will not rise in value... they just won't be as valuable to the Non - Dolphin fan or the NFL collector in general in years to come. So Marino's collectible overall market shrinks. :mad:

I think there are several threads already announcing Favre's comeback but I guess Dolfan Stan has to make his own unique announcement about this. Why I don't know? :confused:

Because he's dolfan stan. The legendary dolfan stan. Do not question his actions. He's going through a rough time, I heard a rumor he may retire in April.

yes the rumor is true.. but it's 50 - 50

I've been enjoying the off season for now... will see

enjoy everyone here at fin heaven...

have to deal with some pretty harsh comments sometimes..

but it's all for the good of fun..
