Fitzgerald to be dealt?

Rumors are rumors, but this is a fun thought to entertain, but if Fitzgerald was being dealt I'd hope like hell that the Tuna would be on the phone trying to work something out. Our first for Fitz their first, and a 2nd or 3rd would be helluva nice trade, we'd get avoid paying #1 money, pick up a legit #1, and pick up a 3rd. Guys a beast, him + Ginn would be fun to watch.

Either he'd have to restructure, or Arizona would pay his bonus's in the trade.

I'd love to see someone package a player and a pick for our #1. While there's some great talent available there's only one player I'd say is true #1 potential..and we all know we're not going to draft a RB. Dorsey and Long will both be great players, but are they worth #1 overall money? Time will tell, and in all odds we'll get stuck with it, but I'd wish we could trade down a bit.

i think we will draft Long with the first pick just because parcells likes people that can rush the passer and can stand up like a JT type player

I like long, but more as a #5 pick, there's a big difference between #1 and #5money. As a #1 pick, he'll come in getting paid JT-esque money....I think that needs to be reserved for VERY special players. (which is why I'm not a fan of picking #1 to begin with). When you paying that money, I think you need to go BPA..regardless of who you have available. That said everyone's a crapshoot.
