Forget CJ bring in Fitz

Fitz (with his 17 million dollar cap hit) recently said he'd like to be trade to the Eagles..he backed off his statement saying the cards offered him an extension, and he'd like to work it out with them.

Cards won't keep him unless he seriously reworks his contract.....I'd LOVE us to swap down with the cards for Fitz. We avoid paying #1 money, pick up a monster of a receiver.

What pick do the Cards have? That would work for me if it's an early one. I honestly think Parcell's will draft a wr with one of the first four picks though. Hardy is my best guess.

Cards will have to take 8 million dollar cap hit for this .not sure if they will loose 8 million so parcells can be happy.

They pick 16th (lower than I thought it was)

It would benefit both teams though,

We get Fitz, they save the 17 mill that they'd have to pay him (he could renegotiate to lessen the cap hit), and they could draft McFadden (word is Edge won't be around next year, he's going to cost 5 mil)

I'm surprised he won't go back to Minnesota. He was a ball boy with Vikings in 98 I believe.

I heard that 8 mill cap hit is being over exaggerated as they should be able to spread the hit out over a couple seasons. I could be wrong tho

If they cut him after June 1st they can split the 8 into 4 million a piece for this season and next season.But the 17 million next year will be tagged to next year and it will be close to 14 million + 4 million =18 million cap hit next year.

Like i posted in an thread just minutes ago, no, hes gonna cost waaaaaaayyyyy too much. We could get Bryant Johnson and Roy Williams probably for the money he wants so no. Get Roy or Bryant and use the rest of the money on other positions.
