Funny stuff I just read

I am sure this thread will get deleted or even beat up by all of the forum faithful as this being meaningless but I read on KFFL about one of our old players that played so well for us (insert sarcasm). He is Jamar Fletcher....thats right...Mr. Sign me to a big time deal or release me Fletcher....well... here is what he is signing for now because he is soooo great:

Lions | Contract update: J. Fletcher
Wed, 3 May 2006 13:21:51 -0700
<A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/16/nfl">Detroit Lions CB Jamar Fletcher's one-year contract with the Lions included a base salary of $585,000.

So please forgive me for putting this here but I thought of it as ironic to say the least because he was demanding premier money for a second rate CB. Now all of you can get a good laugh or beat me up.... Either way... it is worth a laugh..

GO PHINS!!!!!

Well ya never know. Some would deem this non-Dolphin related info and seek a merge or ban or something to that nature. I just thought it was so funny that the cornerback that we drafted so highly who held out because he wanted all this money because he thought he was the bomb is now accepting a base salary like that. It is funny how life slaps you in the face like that.... Makes you look deep and wonder if you really are worth all that money you were asking for in the beginning. Seems he needs to just play and then the money will come when he proves himself.:goof:

why does matt millen still have a job? he must be sleeping with william clay ford, thats the only reason to explain this. He drafts a bunch of overrated ksill position players, doesnt even interview a minority coach, then decides the white guy he hired isnt good so he fires him too, then he gets in a mess trying to hire mike martz to be an offensive coordinator, he screws up the harrington trade, and he looks like a douche to top it off.

That's pretty harsh man. I wouldn't wish injury on any player no matter how bad they were or how wrong they did the Phins. That's on you tho man. I wouldn't do that on anyone. You might want to take a look at yourself when you wish such things on people..... Not very healthy man.....
