well, the main reason Eli gets so much crap is how he and his daddy acted going into the draft, and when the G-Men traded for him, it ended up giving the Chargers Merriman and Nick Hardwick (plus Rivers making the Pro Bowl last year, and Big Ben being one of the better QBs in the NFL doesn't help)

Well, at least now Eli can shake off that. Like Big Ben, he's led a team to a Super Bowl, thus validating his draft selection.

Players I'm looking at for 08 draft: Adarius Bowman, DR Cromartie, Martin Rucker, Bruce Davis, Shannon Tevaga, Tracy Porter, Brian Brohm, Matt Ryan, Chris Long, John Carlson, Chauncey Washington (ex-HS teammate)
Interesting fact: Bill Parcells was the 1st NFL coach to have Gatorade dumped on him after a W in 1985.

Big props to the Giants right now... I like how they match up vs the Pats if that secondary can hold up because the Giants pass rush is exceptional. Eli Manning is playing superb. Their experience vs the Pats in the final game of the regular season has really helped them get where they are... now lets just hope they can finish what they started in that final game when they were up by 10 in the 4th quarter. If they are in that same position again, two weeks from now, they will win.
