Wed, 5 Mar 2008 20:50:37 -0800 Tim Graham, of the Palm Beach Post, reports free-agent OG Rex Hadnot (Dolphins) is seeking a four- or five-year contract worth about $5 million per season, according to sources. One NFL insider predicts Hadnot would average closer to $3.5 million than what he's asking for. http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nfl Nobody is going to give him that $$$. now I know why he hasn't signed yet...

He hasn't signed because he thinks he's worth more than what teams want to pay him. Doesn't look too good for him either. his best hope of getting $5mil a year is to go talk to Al Davis. He doesn't seem to have any problem grossly overpaying for free agents.

 he's a back up on 80% of the teams in the NFL... I have nothing against Rex and I like his attitude, unfortunatly his attitude didn't translate to talent on the field. I think he reached his peak (which was a little less then an average G) with Houck I don't see him getting any better with anybody else. |
