Hall-of-Fame GameJust saw Colt Brennan come in at QB for the Redskins. He looks awesome... looks like the best QB from this year's draft... he'll steal Jason Campbell's starting job before this year is over. He was a sixth-round pick, like Tom Brady.

Its the first preseason game and he is playing against guys who will be lucky to be working at UPS in a few weeks. Im not impressed yet. Even John Beck looked decent in the preseason last year.

Gee, give the guy a break... Perfect passes has nothing to do with first, second or third string. Poor guy has done everything in college and has been told he is too small, arm strenghth poor, poor deilvery , system QB and all he does is scores touchdown most in college and has just show he can in the NFL. People always have to be negetive.

"Even John Beck looked decent in the preseason last year."
-- You don't see a lot of blitzes and pressure in the pre-season... With 4 or 5 seconds, Beck looks like a star. With only 3 seconds... he doesn't look so good. The problem is you only get 3 seconds... until you can prove you can beat the blitz. We're a work in progress now. Additionally, this defense appears to be playing full speed this training camp, where as last year, we were using backups in training camp to give our offense an edge... and you could see after the snap, these guys would stand up and push... and not really try to get any real pressure. This defense could be a top-10 defense again... if we can score on them, we'll have a good year. Note: it is still sad that with our average-at-best secondary, that this offense isn't a bit more productive. |
