Hasselback And Hawks Agree On Contract

just seen on the bottom line that matt hasselback and the seahawks agreed in principle on a long term contract. i guess that frees them up to slap the franchise tag on shawn alexander as they have already locked up walter jones and now hasselback. our options are getting slim and is starting to look more and more like drafting a back at number #2 could happen.

That would be one crazy bluff. what if no one gave Sea the compensatory draft picks, and are forced to sign him at the going rate for a top 5 player at his position -- how would they afford that?
