If you get a young, pro bowl caliber quarterback without giving up any talent or draft picks... I think you can afford to throw a guy a few bucks.

I have no doubt in mind that Saban would pay full price in a heartbeat to potentially not have to worry about the quarterback postion for 6 or 7 years.

Why wouldnt he? We pay JT a load of money. We pay Ronnie a ton of cash. Why not pay a star at the the most important position?
