11-5 is not that impressive of a record either.

OY!!!!!! The NFL is not fixed. The Saints had a good year cause
A-They actually had a stable home field and far less distractions.
B-The argueably best RB fell into their laps cause the Texans are inept.
C-A very good qb fell into their lap cause we weren't sold on his shoulder (wow, did that turn out badly for us!!)
D-They got a young and very good head coach who will probably be a top candidate if not winner of coach of the year.
Nothing is fixed!

I guess im just not belieiving the feel good story of the year for the NFL.

I think that somewhere the nfl is rigging all this so that they win.

YOU WATCH

:rolleyes2

They got rid of Aaron Brooks and brought in Drew Brees.
Solid draft
Reggie Bush
Hired what seems to be a great coach, coach of the year in fact..... but wait that's probably part of the conspiracy.

It's pretty much a new team and they've done a great job.
Oh wait, they haven't, it's an NFL conspiracy......

Same team as the 3-13 year right?

Come on man, if it were fixed, our Dolphins wouldn't take ove 30 years to win another Superbowl. (if I knew how to put a little yellow smiley face here, I would have)

I don't buy into the conspiracy theory, but do I think the refs know people with money on individual games and have a hand in turning the tables at times, absolutely.

This is very sensible. People seem to have forgotten that the Saints were an 8-8 team in 2004 with Aaron Brooks and Jim Haslett. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that a huge upgrade at QB alone could have gotten them to 10-6.

Granted it did happen to NYC, but the point would be to fly the colors of America loud and proud.

The Pats were down just like America, but they overcame and won it all.

They are the only team to fly the colors of the USA. They are the Patriots afterall.

No other team could inspire American patriotism of the Flag waving like the Pats, especially with green/white or that dark blue/grey thing the NY teams wear.

Let's also not forget Boston's part in 9/11. I forget if it was 2, 3, or all 4 of the flights that originated from that airport (I think it was 2), but that's still a link.

Listen, bottom line, Saban pulled the plug on Brees ala pennington like shoulder injury. Hindsight, i'd still take Pep because, u don't sign a FREE AGENT to a MULTI MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT WHEN HIS THROWING ARM WAS JUST DISASSEMBLED. I am super glad for brees and the saints though. Culpepper will be servicable, but he could be better in a quasi WC offense. RB fits the westbrook mold completely. Just need the right OC. The real deal is this: Ronnie must touch the ball(run or pass) 25 times a game. I better not see whisenhunt here, as much as people love him. He runs a similar offense to Mularky. We need lots and lots of play action after running ronnie w/success early and often. We need no side show, we have the main event here with the people we have. We need the offense to believe and be confident in the play calling. Mularkey, while he was not bad, is similar to martz, just didn't get as much pub. Our coach will be gailey, shotty jr. or cameron. If SD loses tomorrow, I'll put up 50 bones on paypal that cam is our HC.

Let's also remember that the attacks did not just happen to New York City. It's pretty sad that has to be pointed out five years out, but there were two other crash sites. You can't have the Jets/Giants, Steelers, and Redskins all win the Super Bowl.

Thats nice and all, but one problem. They went on to win two more superbowls. Is that because of 9/11 too?

What is going on in here these days? Ok here are a few more famous conspiracies:

1. The NFL forces all other teams in the NFC to lose to the Saints. All other teams agree and do so.

2. MLB puts steroids in the food of baseball players to increase attandance by an exciting home run race.

3. NHL pipes in special fighting gas spray to arenas to induce fighting among players.

4. Wayne Huyzinga kept Nick Saban's wife chained up in his yacht so that Nick couldnt leave.

Actually no, if you read my post thouroughly (which you probably didn't), that the Pats won the second one because of Afghansistan/Iraq war on terrorism.
