anyone know why the Lions and Falcons are not wearing their throwback jerseys? that's what i like about Thanksgiving football, the throwbacks

I forgot who, but someone on here said that they wasn't doing the throwbacks anymore. I really don't know why they quit for.

I told ya 3 weeks ago the NFL put a stop to this THROWBACK thing.

What Dallas was wearing I have no idea, maybe they got some special clearence or that was their 1 game 3rd jersey. But the THROWBACK thing is over and done with on Thanksgiving.

That was me! The NFL put a stop to it this year. Won't see it anymore for a long while.

They felt it ran its course and you can only see the same throwbacks from Dallas and Detroit so many times. Not to mention Detroit has those new black jerseys they are wearing this year that they want to market and sell so this is their biggest showcase of the year to do that.

The NFL came down with a whole new JERSEY RULE thing this year that is like 10 pages long. Like if you buy a throwback Jim Kelly Bills jersey, you can't not have Kelly's name on it and put SUCKS or BLOWS or some offensive term like that. I think the throwback jersey thing was part of this whole thing. They are trying to cut back on the throwbacks in general and market the new stuff.
