Jaguars' Collier critical after shooting

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Richard Collier was shot and critically wounded outside an apartment building early Tuesday as he and a former Jacksonville teammate waited for two women they had met at a nightclub, police said.

I hope the guy pulls through and recovers fully, but does anyone else think he was simply sitting in his car and for no reason someone just shoots the guy out of the blue? I think there's more to the story then a guy just sitting in his car and getting shot.

I agree; my first thought was an angry boyfriend, with Collier and his friend sitting outside some woman's house at 2:30AM - probably for a booty call.
