Javon Walker thought about retiring

Raiders WR Javon Walker told the Raiders Thursday he intended to retire and offered to return his $11 million signing bonus.
Owner Al Davis reportedly persuaded him to remain with the team. Walker has struggled with his performance in camp so far, but we never expected something this drastic. Walker's knee doesn't appear to be getting better, and he obviously has some mental hurdles to clear after a trying offseason. With red flags popping up all over, the troubled receiver should remain on your "do not draft" list for now.

I'd rather retire than go to the Raiders as well, but for that ridiculous sum of money how can you?

Who would want to play for the Raiders? Walker's been going down a bad slope lately anyway...he should have just left the game.

Al Davis is getting crazier by the day. He should've taken that $11mil and ran. Seriously. Walker was already a huge risk for that kind of money and even he thinks he won't return to form. How could Davis screw up an opportunity like that?
